Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Program Director to lead our NYS Thruway team. The role drives strategic direction, P&L, project performance, and client management, with full onsite presence in New York State. Relocation assistance is provided to enable seamless onboarding.

The ideal candidate has state government contract experience, tolling and call center leadership, executive presence, and a proven ability to oversee large-scale programs from planning through execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 12-15 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Experience leading state tolling contracts and large call centers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the project financial performance including budgeting and P&L.
• Ensure contract compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Lead client management and executive-level communications.
• Direct operations, staffing, and resource allocation for the program.
• Guide RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs and associated response development.
