Job summary

YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South is seeking a Program Director 2 for Cordova, TN. The role leads School Age programs focused on safety and holistic child development, while coordinating with YMCA staff, school staff, and families.

Key duties include coaching PD1 staff, ensuring curriculum quality, maintaining compliance with licensing, and leading community engagement and fundraising efforts. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or higher with TECTA certificate or equivalent.
• Four-year degree with related experience may be accepted.
• Minimum 21 years of age and at least 5 years YMCA or childcare leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Program Director 1 to ensure effective operation of school-age programs.
• Provide guidance and supervision in programming, curriculum, enrollment, and parent events.
• Develop relationships with licensing agencies, school administration, and community partners.
• Oversee staff scheduling, payroll, and variance reporting.
• Drive enrollment strategies and manage grant programs and special funding.
