Job summary

The Senior Program Director at YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South leads strategic childcare, before/after school and camp programming at a flagship center. The role partners with school districts and community organizations to drive enrollment, engagement and revenue while maintaining high program quality.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage budgets, ensure safety and compliance, and spearhead fundraising and volunteer efforts to advance the Y’s mission in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, nonprofit management, education or related field.
• Minimum five years of senior leadership and supervisory experience in YMCA ops or nonprofit settings.
• Proven experience with branch operations, financial management and team leadership.
• Experience working with volunteer boards and fundraising preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for YMCA programs in the Center and school system, ensuring excellence.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate branch-based programs supporting youth development and healthy living.
• Oversee safety, quality and compliance with YMCA standards and regulations.
• Lead youth and family programming with revenue targets and strong community partnerships.
• Recruit, hire and develop staff; foster an inclusive, performance-driven culture.
