Job summary

The YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South is seeking a dynamic Senior Program Director to oversee Before/After Care, Summer Camp and youth/family programming within a major city community. You will lead staff, drive enrollment and revenue, ensure program quality and maintain strong community partnerships while aligning with the Y’s mission.

Under the Senior VP of Center Operations, you will guide budgeting, personnel management and fundraising initiatives to sustain high-quality childcare and youth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, business, nonprofit management, education or related field.
• Minimum five years of senior leadership and supervisory experience in YMCA operations, nonprofit management or related environments.
• Proven experience in branch/site operations, financial management and team leadership.
• Experience working with volunteer boards and fundraising initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for YMCA programs both in the Center and in the school system, ensuring excellence in programs, services and facilities.
• Develop and manage the youth and family operating budget, forecasting and financial controls.
• Lead fundraising efforts and engage volunteers and board members to advance philanthropic impact.
• Recruit, hire, coach and develop a high-performing team of staff and key staff.
• Build strong relationships with local government, school leaders and community partners.
