Job summary

YMCA of Memphis and the Mid-South is seeking a Program Director 2 to lead its School Age programs, ensuring safety and developmental growth for children while fostering strong relationships with staff, school partners, and families.

You will supervise PD1, guide program planning, manage enrollment, and contribute to grant funding and community partnerships. This is a full-time on-site role requiring leadership and compliance with state childcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and TECTA certificate or equivalent recognized by the DOE, or

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise School Age programs and PD1s to ensure safety and high-quality programming.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing and DHS regulations.
• Develop enrollment strategies and manage program outreach and partnerships.
• Oversee staff scheduling, payroll, and reporting; participate in grant management.
