Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Director - Power Delivery Solutions to lead the delivery of Substation P&C, Physical, Civil and Structural scopes for utility clients across 4kV-765kV, ensuring contract and technical requirements are met.

The role requires strong leadership of technical teams, oversight of schedule and cost performance, collaboration with section managers and the PMO, and coordination with BD/AM on client initiatives, with emphasis on safety, quality, and value delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in electric utility engineering.
• Fundamental understanding of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery.
• Advanced understanding of electric power utility industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of engineering and professional services for Substation P&C, Physical, Civil and Structural scopes for utility clients for 4kV-765kV.
• Engage technical teams, review progress, evaluate effectiveness, and maximize program outcomes.
• Collaborate with Section Managers on delivery and resource management; escalate issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with the PMO to optimize program management; provide issue management and deep dive investigations.
• Develop financial forecasts of revenue and operating income; work with BD/AM on client initiatives.
• Support the VP-T&S on special projects as assigned.
