Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Director for Power Delivery Solutions to lead engineering and professional services across substation P&C, physical, civil and structural scopes for utility clients spanning 4kV-765kV. This role requires coordinating technical teams, managing schedules, and driving cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.

The candidate will collaborate with section managers and the PMO, forecast program revenue, and support BD/AM initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with ten (10)+ years of experience in electric utility engineering.
• Functional understanding of principals and practices of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery.
• Advanced understanding of electric power utility industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent team building and coloration skills.

Responsibilities

• The PD will manage the delivery of engineering and professional services for Substation P&C, Physical, Civil and Structural Scopes for Utility Clients for 4kV-765kV.
• PD will engage technical teams providing services, review team progress, evaluate team effectiveness and work through the responsible engineering managers and section managers to maximize the outcomes on the program.
• Collaborate with Section Managers on the delivery of engineering activities. Support the SMs with resource management and assessment.
• Partner with the PMO to optimize the management of the program. Provide issue management and deep dive investigation to supplement the daily project management duties.
• Develop financial forecasts of the revenue and operating income on the program. Work with the BD manager/AM on larger client management initiatives.
• Support the VP-T&S on special projects as assigned.
