Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a seasoned Team Leader to run the dedicated program team, own the plan and budget, and serve as the client’s daily delivery contact. You will oversee registrations, housing, and communications, manage master timelines, and lead onsite execution for flagship events including major conferences.

The role requires eight+ years in large corporate meetings, strong leadership, advanced Cvent and Smartsheet skills, and a track record of client-focused

Qualifications

• Eight or more years delivering large corporate meetings and events
• Experience on a dedicated account team leading the program
• Ownership of multimillion dollar program budgets with accurate forecasts
• Delivery of large conferences with thousands of attendees
• Advanced Cvent proficiency and client-owned instance management
• Strong Smartsheet project-tracking skills
• Executive presence for client planning and updates
• People leadership and performance conversations
• Precise written communication for status reports and logs

Responsibilities

• Lead the dedicated account program team across planning, venues, and operations
• Own delivery from kickoff through onsite execution, including flagship conferences
• Manage client communications, cadence planning, and status reporting
• Own program budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Maintain master timelines in Smartsheet and ensure source data integrity
• Oversee registration, housing, attendee communications, and data privacy
• Lead supplier and venue management across portfolio and production resources
• Direct onsite delivery with staffing, run of show, and issue escalation
• Maintain program documentation and logs for renewal value
• Collaborate on account planning and scope management with leadership
