Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking an Event Manager to plan and deliver end-to-end programs for a dedicated Experience Studio team, working with a producer who owns strategy and budget.

You will manage budgets up to $500,000, coordinate suppliers, onsite staffing, and attendee communications, and lead multiple programs annually while keeping plans current in client tools and delivering on time.

Qualifications

• Four or more years planning corporate meetings and events.
• Experience as onsite lead on ten or more programs a year.
• Independent management of program budgets up to $500,000 with accurate forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver assigned programs end to end with the producer.
• Manage budgets from first estimate through final reconciliation.
• Coordinate suppliers and onsite logistics forHotels, venues, transportation, F&B, AV.
• Lead onsite for programs including staffing and run of show.
• Maintain planning files and supplier records for easy handover.
