Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, MD seeks a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst. Onsite role with a 9/80 schedule, supporting budgets, schedules, Earned Value metrics and cost control across multiple contracts.

The position requires a Secret clearance and US citizenship, with a bachelor's degree plus 5 years (or master's with 3) of relevant experience, and travel up to 10% domestically. Northrop Grumman offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related professional experience OR a master's degree with 3 years of related professional experience.
• Experience with cost performance reporting and analysis.
• Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting.
• Ability to travel domestically 10%.
• Current, active US Government Secret security clearance.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist in financial analyses.
• Monitor earned value and cost control on contracts; develop WBS, budget baselines, and estimates to complete.
• Maintain records of expenditures and submit funding requests to government.
• Support audits, reviews, and internal reporting (IPRS, Dashboards, BARs).
