Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Global Patriot within the Land & Air Defense Systems SBU, supporting the Spain 4-Lot Contract. You will be a key member of the finance team, performing detailed financial analysis to explain monthly variances to budget and the EAC position, and providing support to the FP&A function.

The role is hybrid (onsite & remote) with a commutable location to multiple sites in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field and 5+ years relevant experience; or advanced degree and 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with Program Finance and/or Earned Value (EV).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with SAP accounting system and BI/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EAC (Estimate at Complete), EV and Budget Change Requests (BCR) processes.
• Mentor and develop other analysts on the team.
• Support approved Budget Change Requests and ensure changes are reflected in control systems.
• Prepare and present EV financial data for Monthly Operating Reviews and Financial Reviews.
• Handle program control including monthly variance analysis and billing.
• Support program offset projects and ad-hoc tasks/analysis.
• Provide meaningful business insights and communicate with partners at all levels of management.
