Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls (P3) to support a portfolio of development programs within the AET & IKCA Finance team. This onsite role is based in Tucson, AZ, with relocation assistance available. The candidate will drive cost controls, forecasting, and reporting using SAP APEX, PRISM, and other EVMS tools.

Responsibilities include monthly/quarterly reporting, funding verification, and preparation of executive-level financial briefings for program leadership. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field; 5+ years experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years relevant experience.
• Experience interpreting and analyzing large financial data sets.
• Experience preparing financial briefings for management and peers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly and quarterly contract deliverables and reporting requirements.
• Manage Inter-Organizational Transfers (IOTs) with partner units and verify funding and scope.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts for the portfolio using Rplan.
• Analyze program financial data to support cost collection, forecasting and reporting.
• Prepare financial reports and management briefings with program data.
• Identify variances between planned and actual costs and support forecasting.
