Job summary

AV is seeking a detail-oriented Contractor Cost/Control Specialist to join its team in Arlington, VA. You will review complex contract terms (T&M, FFP, CPFF, CPIF), ensure financial compliance, and drive timely, quality delivery across multiple programs.

You’ll forecast manpower, monitor program revenue, and provide continuous performance assessment with clear reporting to leadership. The role requires a US citizen with a current secret clearance and strong skills in MS Office, Cobra, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 8 years of related project control experience; or Master’s degree and minimum of three years of project control experience.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Cobra, and Unanet.
• US Citizenship with current Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand contract terms (T&M, FFP, CPFF, etc.) and ensure compliance throughout project implementation.
• Ensure quality of product and services, and monitor cost, timeliness, and business relations across TOs.
• Establish and maintain cost/schedule baselines; enforce change control and work authorization.
• Prepare manpower and non-labor forecasts; assist in resource planning.
• Forecast, monitor, and update program revenue; identify resource gaps.
• Provide data-driven problem-solving; assess contract performance and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with KO, COR, COTR, AV PM, and Subcontractor PM for responsive services.
• Monitor reports and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL); ensure timely submissions.
• Develop standard and ad hoc status reports; support management decisions.
• Produce and validate IPMRs and similar reports for customers.
