Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America (PECNA) is seeking a Manager, Production Training & Capability Development to improve workforce capability, productivity, and operational performance through training governance, certification, and qualification systems.

You will partner with Production, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, and HR to identify training needs and implement learning solutions that support safe, high-quality manufacturing operations at our De Soto, KS site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Learning & Development or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience.
• Experience leading training functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience developing and implementing training programs and workforce capability systems.
• Experience managing skill matrices, certification systems, and training governance processes.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Working-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Lead training governance and workforce capability initiatives.
• Develop training roadmaps and governance processes.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, and HR.
• Coach and develop production trainers.
• Support audits and compliance in training documentation.
