Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America (PECNA) is seeking a Manager, Production Training & Capability Development to improve workforce capability, productivity, and operational performance through training governance, certification, and development systems.

You will partner with Production, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, CI, and HR to identify needs and implement effective learning solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Learning & Development, Workforce Development, Manufacturing Operations, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience.
• Experience leading training functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience developing and implementing training programs and workforce capability systems.
• Experience managing skill matrices, certification systems, qualification programs, and training governance processes.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning and development strategies across Production, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, and HR.
• Develop and maintain training governance, qualification, certification, and workforce development systems.
• Design and improve manufacturing training programs and materials (instructor-led, blended, and digital).
• Establish and track training metrics and governance KPIs.
• Coach and develop Production Trainers; ensure consistent training delivery across sites.
