Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. in Kennedale, TX is seeking a Senior Supervisor to oversee first-line supervision in the manufacturing facility, focusing on safety, productivity, and quality while ensuring adherence to schedules and company standards.

You will assign daily work, monitor progress, manage staffing, conduct meetings, and collaborate with other supervisors and management to drive continuous improvement using Epicor/Vantage systems and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Regular and timely attendance required.
• Two year associate degree and/or 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge of AWS requirements for welded structures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Math aptitude and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Current computer skills (email, Word, Excel).
• Ability to develop strong working relationships and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Gives daily work assignments to personnel; prioritizes based on schedules and manager input.
• Continuously monitors progress on daily work schedules to ensure progress.
• Maintains attendance and performance records; provides daily payroll reports.
• Evaluates performance on safety, quality, productivity, and attendance; initiates actions.
• Manages staffing levels; interviews and selects candidates within guidelines.
• Communicates with other supervisors and management; leads department meetings.
• Uses Epicor/Vantage to track production and improve processes.
