Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. in Conroe, Texas seeks a Senior Supervisor to lead first‑line supervision at the Sabre Tubular Structures Facility, overseeing manufacturing, safety, productivity, and quality.

You will assign daily work, monitor progress, maintain attendance records, evaluate performance, and ensure safe practices while coordinating with the Production Manager to meet schedules. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a hands‑on approach in a fast paced plant.

Qualifications

• Two year associate degree and/or 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of AWS for welded structures is preferred.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Gives daily work assignments to personnel within the Shop and prioritizes based on schedules.
• Monitors progress to ensure satisfactory completion of daily plans.
• Maintains attendance and performance records for payroll and evaluations.
• Evaluates safety, quality, productivity and attendance; initiates improvements.
• Maintains staffing levels and assists with internal postings and hires.
• Communicates with other supervisors and management; conducts department meetings.
• Uses Epicor/Vantage to monitor production jobs and reporting.
• Ensures safety practices and continuous improvement within the department.
