The role requires coordinating with department supervisors, optimizing workflows, and maintaining accurate records to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Two year associate degree or equivalent manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow safety guidelines.
• Proven leadership and good interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team and meet deadlines.
• Use of standard office software with good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Gives daily work assignments to personnel within the Shop and prioritizes work.
• Continuously monitors progress on daily schedules.
• Maintains attendance and performance records for payroll.
• Evaluates performance in safety, quality, productivity and attendance.
• Interviews and selects candidates as vacancies occur.
• Communicates with supervisors and manages meetings to coordinate work.
• Maintains safety awareness and ensures safe practices across operations.
• Ensures production schedules are met and cost controls are observed.
• Monitors and uses Epicor/Vantage systems for production jobs.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
