Job summary

Sabre Industries in Kennedale, Texas, seeks an experienced Senior Supervisor to oversee first-line manufacturing, safety, productivity and quality in our tubular structures facility.

You will assign daily work, monitor progress, manage attendance, train staff, interview candidates, and collaborate with department supervisors to meet production goals and continuous improvement targets.

Qualifications

• Two year associate degree and/or 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must read and interpret blueprints.
• Must have knowledge of AWS requirements for welded structures.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Gives daily work assignments to personnel and sets priorities.
• Monitors progress on daily work schedules to ensure progress.
• Maintains attendance and performance records; provides daily payroll reports.
• Evaluates safety, quality and productivity; initiates corrective action.
• Maintains staffing levels; interviews and selects candidates.
• Communicates with other supervisors and attends department meetings.
