Job summary

Cadrex Seguin is seeking a Scheduler II to develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand, capacity, and inventory levels. Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

You will monitor schedules, adjust for changes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including APS implementations, to ensure on-time delivery and efficient operations at Cadrex Seguin.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, scheduling, or related roles in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency with scheduling software or APS systems and ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on orders, demand forecasts, capacity, and inventory.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Supply Chain to understand requirements and constraints.
• Analyze data (order volumes, material availability, capacity) to optimize schedules.
• Monitor and adjust schedules for changes in demand or constraints.
• Optimize resource allocation (manpower, equipment, materials) to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with procurement/material planning for timely raw materials availability.
• Communicate schedules and changes to stakeholders (Production, Engineering, QA).
• Track production performance and implement corrective actions.
