Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Scheduler II to develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules aligned with customer demand, capacity constraints, and inventory levels. You will coordinate with Sales, Production, and Supply Chain teams to meet deadlines and optimize resource use in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, experience with APS or scheduling software, and excellent communication to keep stakeholders informed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Supply Chain teams to understand customer requirements, lead times, and production constraints.
• Analyze production data, including order volumes, material availability, and equipment capacity, to develop optimal production schedules.
• Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in customer demand, material availability, or production constraints.
• Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with procurement and material planning teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Communicate production schedules and changes to relevant stakeholders, including Production, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.
• Track and report on production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts, prioritize urgent orders, and manage capacity constraints.
• Support the implementation of advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
