Job summary

Techmer PM, Clinton, TN, seeks a Manager of Production Planning to lead end-to-end planning across a multi-site batch environment. You will translate demand into executable schedules, balancing capacity, inventory, and costs while improving throughput and on-time delivery.

Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality, and IT to optimize production, changeovers, and material availability. Strong ERP/MRP and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business or Engineering.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop planning teams.
• Experience in made-to-order, batch-process, or high-mix manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated production plans translating customer demand into optimized batch-production schedules.
• Balance line capacity, production rates, batch sizes, labor, maintenance, and raw material supply.
• Optimize production sequencing to reduce changeovers, cleaning, scrap, and downtime.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Production Planners and Schedulers.
• Own ERP and planning systems, establish master-data standards, and improve tooling.
