Opti Staffing Group client seeks a Planning Manager to lead production planning and the related team. You will translate demand, capacity, and inventory into a precise production plan for the plant floor, aligning scheduling, expediting, order entry, and documents.

The role emphasizes hands-on planning leadership, collaboration across departments, and continuous improvement in a true production planning leadership capacity.

Formación

• Minimum of three years of hands-on production planning experience within manufacturing.
• Proven managerial experience leading planning, scheduling, or expediting teams (≥2 years).
• Deep understanding of plant flow from order entry to delivery and capacity planning.
• Experience developing demand forecasts and rolling production plans across timeframes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily and weekly planning activities to align demand, materials, capacity, and inventory.
• Oversee Schedulers, Expeditors, Order Entry Clerks, and Document Control.
• Develop rolling demand forecasts and 2–3 week look-ahead plans.
• Coach and train staff; set goals, priorities, and accountability standards.
• Prepare planning reports and present to leadership; drive process improvements.
