Job summary

Fillauer in Tennessee is seeking a Senior/Lead Production Planner to lead scheduling, capacity planning, and demand forecasting across multiple work centers. The role requires strong ERP/MRP proficiency, cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Finance, and a track record of driving improvements in planning performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in supply chain, logistics or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in production planning or manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; ability to analyze and interpret system data for planning decisions.
• Experience managing production schedules across multiple work centers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Experience with forecast review, inventory analysis, and demand/supply balancing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable leading cross-functional discussions.
• Proven ability to prioritize, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, BOMs, routings, and work center operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Professional certifications such as CPIM or CSCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production scheduling and discussions, setting priorities across work centers.
• Manage the production job schedule across multiple work centers and planning horizons to support on-time supply and delivery dates.
• Build and assess planning scenarios in response to demand changes, capacity constraints, or supply disruptions.
• Resolve complex scheduling, WIP, and delivery issues beyond day-to-day planning scope.
