Job summary

CesiumAstro, Inc. is seeking a Senior Production Planner to develop and optimize production plans that align with capacity, materials, and customer demand.

You will coordinate schedules, evaluate trends, and resolve planning challenges to support manufacturing objectives and commitments. In this role you will collaborate with supply chain, operations, engineering, quality, program management, and finance to ensure production plans align with capacity and priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years in production planning, manufacturing planning, or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience evaluating BOMs, routings, lead times, and capacity requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and production planning software.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of production plans aligned with schedules and commitments.
• Evaluate demand, capacity, inventory, and priorities to optimize schedules.
• Identify constraints and propose solutions to improve schedule stability.
• Maintain planning data in ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and forecasts to support decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities and actions.
• Communicate schedule changes and risks to stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements in planning and execution.
