Job summary

CesiumAstro in Denver designs satellite communication systems and is seeking a Senior Material Planner to optimize material planning and manufacturing readiness for a growing product line.

You will coordinate cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, program management, procurement, and quality to balance supply and demand, reduce risk, improve planning processes, and ensure on‑time delivery to customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of material planning, production planning, and inventory management.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integrated material plans to support production schedules.
Analyze material requirements, inventory levels, demand forecasts, and supply commitments.
Coordinate with operations and manufacturing to support material readiness.
Communicate shortages and supply risks to stakeholders.
Drive planning process improvements and data documentation.
