Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Material Planner to join our growing team in a fast-paced space-tech environment. You will develop material strategies, balance supply and demand, and coordinate material availability to support manufacturing schedules and commitments.

Working cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, engineering, program management, manufacturing, quality, and finance, you will optimize inventory, mitigate risks, and drive improvements in planning processes to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as supply chain management, operations, or business.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, production scheduling, and inventory optimization.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and business reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated material plans supporting production schedules.
• Analyze material requirements and inventory levels.
• Evaluate inventory performance and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with operations and manufacturing for material readiness.
• Communicate shortages, risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders.
• Drive planning process improvements and KPI tracking.
