Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Production Planner to develop and maintain production plans, align schedules with capacity and material availability, and optimize planning activities to meet customer commitments.

You will collaborate across supply chain, operations, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and finance while leveraging ERP and planning tools to drive efficiency and transparency. A strong understanding of BOMs, routings, and lead times is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field with 5–8 years of experience, or a Master's with 3–6 years in production planning or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, and supply chain planning principles.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics, NetSuite) and planning tools.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience analyzing schedules, BOMs, routings, lead times, and capacity constraints to manage risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of production plans aligned with schedules and customer commitments.
• Evaluate demand, capacity, inventory, and priorities to optimize production schedules.
• Identify constraints and risks, recommending planning improvements for stability.
• Maintain planning data and parameters within ERP and planning systems.
• Create reports and dashboards to support business decisions and metrics.
• Present schedule analyses and recommendations to stakeholders.
