Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Planner to lead production program planning for industrial products in a fast-paced environment. You will align demand with capacity, material availability, and business priorities, while driving improvements in planning accuracy and customer delivery.

The role involves coordinating with Production, Purchasing, Project Management, and other teams, owning the master production plan, and guiding planners to meet schedules and inventory targets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, material planning, supply chain, or related operations.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, capacity planning, inventory control, and material flow in manufacturing.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and preparation of production programs to support forecasts, orders and priorities.
• Develop, analyze, and adjust production schedules to optimize material and labor use.
• Own work order control on the production floor and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and expedite operations or materials that delay schedules and adjust plans accordingly.
• Analyze demand, capacity, inventory, and production data to identify risks and improvements.
• Prepare and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly planning reports for visibility.
• Maintain planning KPIs and drive corrective actions in Tier meetings.
• Monitor progress against the plan and coordinate timely actions to ensure commitments.
• Support annual inventory activities, cycle counts, and accuracy initiatives.
• Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement of planning processes.
