Job summary

Vertiv’s Pelzer Integrated Solutions Campus seeks a Senior Materials Manager to lead all Materials Management functions across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for Manufacturing Planning, Material Control, Purchasing, supplier performance, Inventory Management, Production Planning, and ERP governance to meet customer demand safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• APICS/ASCM, CPM, CPSM, or Lean Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Materials Management activities across multiple plants.
• Develop and execute materials strategy to support delivery and performance.
• Build and mentor Planning, Purchasing, Buyers, Expeditors, and Supervisors teams.
• Establish ownership, accountability, and standardized work across Materials functions.
• Drive material availability to support production schedules and optimize inventory.
• Lead ERP/MRP governance and continuous system improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance on inventory valuation and forecasting.
