Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Sykesville, Maryland, seeks a Manager of Production Operations 3 to lead manufacturing execution, planning, and process implementation for a restricted program area. This on-site role manages a manufacturing cell and drives metrics for safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of Project Management, Manufacturing experience; Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of Project Management, Manufacturing experience
• A minimum of 10 years of team lead or direct supervisory experience
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems including the MRP process
• Experience with cost, schedule, and/or process improvement
• Experience with EVMS and CAM
• Experience MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point
• Must have an active government Secret Level Security Clearance to start
• Must have current Special Access Program clearance to start
• U.S. citizenship is required

Responsabilidades

• Directly manage the OPM’s, Production control, and cell management personnel
• Defining and executing a factory strategy to ensure growth and long-term competitiveness
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Mission Assurance and Program Offices to ensure performance
• Plan and maintain operational budgets
• Remove or mitigate difficulties that prevent on time deliveries
• Lead safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale metrics
• Drive Manufacturing Engineering to use SPC, FMEA, and Gauge R&R for improvements
• Increase engagement levels across the manufacturing organization
