Lockheed Martin in Manassas, VA seeks an experienced Senior Manager to serve as the Production Operations site lead for the MIC2 line of business. Responsibilities include factory execution, material management, planning, manufacturing and industrial engineering, and project management.

You will partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Production Operations, Sustainment, Engineering, and Programs to ensure program execution and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Lean Manufacturing training/certifications.
• 10+ years of experience in Operations, including leading production lines and/or factories, Manufacturing project, overhead and financial management.
• Capture/proposal experience.
• Demonstrated ability to attract, motivate and retain a high-performing team.
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership attributes.
• Experience effectively working with all levels of cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Manassas, VA Production Operations site lead and support day-to-day operations of MIC2 line of business; partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Production Operations, Sustainment, Engineering, and Programs to mitigate risk and improve performance.
• Lead factory execution, material management, planning, manufacturing and industrial engineering, and manufacturing project management.
• Interface with external customers for manufacturing and report to the Production Operations Director for multiple facilities.
