Job summary

Raytheon’s Air Launched Effector Guidance Systems (ALEGS) department is hiring a Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware in Tucson, AZ to drive program execution across cost, schedule and technical oversight. You will support development and sustainment of airborne electrical products, collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and multiple engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years’ prior relevant experience.
Experience with RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and / or network analyzers.
Experience with leading technical projects, failure investigations, or issue resolution efforts.

Responsibilities

Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.
Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve/document concurrence and resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
Travel Requirements: less than 10% annually
