Job summary

RTX Tucson seeks a skilled hardware test engineer to troubleshoot, develop test flows, and manage test equipment and obsolescence plans. You will drive root-cause analysis, perform risk assessments, and lead project execution with DoD security considerations.

Role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years' experience (or an advanced degree with 3+ years) and the ability to obtain ATF clearance. Relocation eligible; onsite work in US-AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with electrical/electronic testing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and provides rework instructions for product hardware.
• Creates and maintains spare/test equipment obsolescence plans.
• Develops Basis of Estimates (BOE) to estimate costs for capacity and obsolescence.
• Leads projects to reduce test time and improve test processes.
• Maintains test equipment data packages and manuals.
• Supports non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis, and repair.
• Leads root cause investigations and presents findings.
• Performs risk assessments and supports risk reviews.
• Leads projects and is responsible for execution.
