Job summary

Stripe is seeking a senior product strategist-operator to join the Strategic Business Performance (SBP) team. You will work cross-functionally across data, financials and product & business strategy to diagnose problems and design workflows that benefit our users.

You’ll own the metrics that matter, lead high-impact interventions, and translate long-horizon theses into in-year execution. The SBP team partners with Corporate Strategy and Product to pressure-test assumptions and accelerate

Qualifications

12+ years in product/data analytics within tech companies
Experience in Product Strategy or PM/GM-style roles with P&L or business outcomes
Deeply curious about business models and data, probing signals and trends
Proven track record of driving growth through analytics and execution
Apply AI to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency
Strong product sense and understanding of how software products are built and scaled
Experience navigating ambiguous, cross-functional problems and leading high-stakes interventions
Fintech experience a plus
Experience facilitating senior leadership meetings to drive meaningful conversations about Stripe’s performance

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the metrics that actually matter for in-year performance.
Lead "surge" projects to diagnose and unblock critical goals at risk.
Translate long-horizon corporate theses into in-year operational reality.
Prepare CEO/COO-level materials translating signals into structured diagnoses.
Work with Corporate Strategy and Product teams to align external market forces with execution.
