Job summary

Stripe is seeking a senior product strategist-operator to join the Strategic Business Performance team within Central Strategy & Operations. You will work cross-functionally across data, financials and product to define metrics and drive actions that improve in-year performance.

You will own the 'Signal', lead surge interventions, translate long-horizon theses into tangible workstreams, and prepare leadership materials for CEO/COO.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in product/data analytics at high-growth tech firms.
• Experience in Product Strategy or GM-style roles with P&L ownership.
• Curious about business models, signals, and usage patterns to uncover insights.
• Proven track record of growing business through analytics and execution.
• Apply AI to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency, know when to use AI tools.
• Strong product sense and understanding of software mechanics.
• Experience navigating ambiguous, cross-functional problems with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with fintech products or financial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the metrics that truly matter for in-year performance.
• Lead surge projects to diagnose and unblock critical goals at risk.
• Translate long-horizon theses into in-year operational workstreams.
• Prepare CEO/COO-level materials translating signals into diagnoses.
• Pressure-test assumptions with Corporate Strategy and Product teams.
