Job summary

Stripe is seeking a senior product strategist-operator to join the Risk team and help shape risk-driven product decisions across Stripe’s product, engineering, data science, finance, operations, and strategy functions.

You will own metrics, run deep-dive interventions, and translate signals into prioritized workstreams with clear owners and measurable outcomes. The role blends rigorous analysis with hands-on execution to improve risk performance while supporting growth.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in product strategy, business operations, data analytics, product management, or strategic roles.
• Experience in product strategy or GM-style roles with direct ownership of a P&L or business outcome.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain metrics that matter for Risk’s in-year performance across risk outcomes, business impact, operational health, and user experience.
• Lead focused interventions to diagnose and unblock goals at risk and drive root-cause analysis to improvement.
• Translate long-horizon risk theses into in-year priorities and operating plans across Product, Risk, Operations, and GTM teams.
• Prepare leadership-ready materials that turn risk signals into actionable options and decisions.
