Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Product Owner for Workforce Management to translate complex workforce needs into measurable technology outcomes. You will own the product backlog, prioritize work, and collaborate with engineering, analytics, and vendors to deliver improvements in forecasting, scheduling, and real-time management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, Workforce Management, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into actionable product requirements.
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations that drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously prioritize the WFM product backlog based on business value, operational impact, risk dependencies and strategic objectives.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear outcomes, requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, operation, analytics, product managers, vendors and other product owners to identify upstream and downstream dependencies.
• Validate that delivered solutions solve the underlying business problem rather that the stated requirements.
• Facilitate decisions when stakeholders have conflicting priorities, establish clear ownership decisions and next steps.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, improve associate and member experience, define measurable success criteria and use data after implementation to determine if expected value was achieved.
