Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Owner, Workforce Management who will translate complex workforce needs into measurable technology outcomes.

You will own the WFM backlog, prioritize work, and partner with engineering and analytics teams to deliver solutions that improve forecasting, scheduling, and operational efficiency. The role requires leading enterprise initiatives, influencing stakeholders, and thriving in ambiguity while aligning with enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into actionable product requirements.
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations that drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously prioritize the WFM product backlog based on business value, operational impact, risk dependencies and strategic objectives.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear outcomes, requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, operation, analytics, product managers, vendors and other product owners to identify upstream and downstream dependencies.
• Validate that delivered solutions solve the underlying business problem rather than the stated requirements.
• Facilitate decisions when stakeholders have conflicting priorities, establish clear ownership decisions and next steps.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, improve associate and member experience, define measurable success criteria and use data after implementation to determine if value was achieved.
