Job summary

GRVTY is seeking an experienced Product Owner to maximize the value of our software by translating operational needs into actionable work for the development team. You will own the product backlog, prioritize tasks based on impact, and work with SETA personnel, the Operator community, UX designers, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with mission strategy.

You will lead backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, and capacity allocation to ensure compliant increments.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Technical proficiency with software development processes and tools (e.g. Agile methodologies, GitLab, Command Prompt).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with IPT Software Lead, Architect, Scrum Team and other stakeholders to plan work.
• Translate business needs into practical technology solutions improving efficiency or user experience.
• Deliver scalable, reliable, and sustainable solutions in complex environments.
• Assess existing solutions and implement improvements yielding sustainable value.
• Track sprint metrics and contribute to PMR package updates.
• Refine backlog based on operator feedback and roadmap decisions.
• Ensure features have clear acceptance criteria aligned with mission objectives.
• Present and contribute at ERB and Increment Planning Sessions; update Change Control Board as needed.
