GRVTY is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to guide a high-performing development team on a mission-enabling program with national security impact.

The role blends hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and cross-functional coordination, serving as the developer POC for design discussions, customer engagements, and Chief Engineer reviews while continuing to contribute to architecture, development, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, full-stack.
• Proficiency in modern web frameworks and RESTful APIs.
• Ability to lead architectural decisions and drive consensus.
• Growth mindset and collaborative problem-solving.
• Mentoring experience.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
• Excellent communication for diverse audiences.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development meetings and coordinate with design and architecture teams.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy full-stack features.
• Develop CONOPs, user guides, and release notes.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Coordinate with test teams to meet product expectations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align features with goals.
• Assist with staffing and team structure decisions.
• Produce monthly progress summaries.
• Host demos and communicate designs to non-technical audiences.
• Improve workflows, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Contribute to long-term architecture planning.
