Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to spearhead go-to-market for the Email Security product line, shaping messaging, positioning, and sales enablement in collaboration with product, marketing, and sales teams.

You will own market research, competitive analysis, and asset development—driving demand and helping the field articulate value to enterprise buyers. This role emphasizes strategic thinking, strong communication, and leadership across functions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product marketing.
• Email security, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT experience strongly preferred.
• BS/BA required; MBA a plus.
• Proven experience marketing to enterprise and technical buyers; concise messaging.
• Threat landscape expertise including intent-based and AI-driven protection.

Responsibilities

• Positioning and messaging: define buyer-focused messaging against market and competitors.
• Establish yourself as the go-to authority on Proofpoint’s intent-based and AI protection capabilities and threat landscape.
• Content creation: webinars, blogs, solution briefs, datasheets, presentations, etc.
• Product demonstrations: demo new capabilities, build demo flows and talk tracks.
• Presentation guru: deliver training, customer briefings, webinars, analyst briefings; lead thought leadership.
• Strategy execution: drive GTM strategy, define metrics, track pipeline and adjust.
• Launch execution: lead cross-functional plans for new capabilities/releases.
• Sales enablement: deliver enablement content and tools for sellers.
• Dynamic collaboration: align with product, marketing, sales, and CI teams.
• Customer advocacy: leverage case studies to strengthen positioning.
