Job summary

Proofpoint seeks a strategic Staff Product Marketing Manager to lead messaging and GTM for a broad data security portfolio, covering DLP, DSPM, ITM, and AI data protection. You will shape market voice and enable sales with cross-functional collaboration across product, sales, and marketing.

You will translate complex security capabilities into clear customer-facing messaging, drive launches, and deliver high-impact content for emails, webinars, and field events, influencing executive audiences

Qualifications

12+ years in product marketing for cybersecurity or data security.
Strong GTM strategy, launches, and campaign planning experience.
Ability to translate complex tech into customer-centric messages.
Experience enabling sales and channel partners.
Excellent communication for exec briefings and analysts.

Responsibilities

Develop strategic positioning and messaging for data security portfolio (DLP, DSPM, ITM, AI security).
Own GTM strategy and launch planning with cross-functional teams.
Create content for solution briefs, web pages, presentations, webinars, blogs.
Build sales and partner enablement materials and playbooks.
Track market, buyer, and competitive trends; craft compelling talks.
Serve as data security SME in trainings, briefings, events, and webinars.
Translate customer insights into sharper messaging and launches.
