Job summary

Proofpoint, a global cybersecurity leader, seeks a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own GTM for the Threat Protection solution. You’ll partner with product, marketing and sales to craft messaging, enable the field, and drive market success.

The role requires 5+ years in product marketing, deep enterprise-buyer experience, and strong content and presentation skills, with a focus on AI-enabled protection and differentiating capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity or enterprise IT.
• BS/BA required; MBA a plus.
• Experience marketing to enterprise buyers with technical and business audience focus.
• Knowledge of threat landscape, including AI-driven protection and relevant attacker tactics.
• Strong content creation, storytelling, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Positioning and messaging: define buyer profiles, buying criteria, and differentiated value.
• Subject matter expert: research market trends and translate into insights for teams.
• Content creation: develop webinars, blogs, briefs, datasheets, and decks.
• Product demonstrations: build and deliver compelling demos and talk tracks.
• Presentation guru: train sales, briefings, webinars, and events; lead thought leadership.
• Strategy execution: drive GTM plan and measure performance with data.
• Launch execution: lead cross-functional launches and updates to drive demand.
• Sales enablement: provide tools and knowledge to sellers to win opportunities.
• Dynamic collaboration: align with product, marketing, and sales for release benefits.
• Customer advocacy: leverage success stories to strengthen messaging.
