Job summary

Energy CX in Chicago is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the customer-facing energy purchasing and tracking platform during a high-growth phase. You will define and drive the vision to turn that platform into an interactive, data-rich experience—think Bloomberg Terminal or Robinhood—for real-time visibility and control over energy purchases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, with leadership and roadmap ownership.
• Experience building fintech, trading, or brokerage-style interfaces (real-time data products).
• Strong technical acumen: understands APIs, SQL, and data pipelines.
• Track record designing interactive, data-dense UX for non-technical users.
• Excellent stakeholder management across Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Design.
• Data-driven mindset with defined metrics to guide decisions.
• Self-starter in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap and vision for the customer-facing platform, translating energy purchasing and tracking into an interactive, real-time interface.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, and Quantitative Strategy to define data visualizations, live pricing displays, and interactive tools for intuitive client use.
• Gather requirements directly from clients, Sales, and Customer Success to identify what drives engagement and decision-making on the platform.
• Write detailed product requirements and specs, and work with engineering to ship features that improve engagement and retention.
• Define and track success metrics (engagement, retention, feature adoption) and use data to prioritize the roadmap.
• Drive integration with underlying market data and pricing infrastructure to ensure real-time accuracy.
• Lead change management and adoption efforts to land new capabilities with clients and internal teams.
