Job summary

Ascend Analytics in Boulder, CO (Hybrid or Remote) seeks a Senior Product Manager to own a portion of our analytics platform, including SmartBidder. You will report to the CPO, collaborating with engineering and a cross-functional team to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

We value 5+ years of B2B product management, deep energy trading/RTO/ISO forecasting experience, and comfort collaborating with senior engineers; PE experience is a plus. Hybrid/remote options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of B2B product management experience spanning strategy, discovery, delivery, measurement, and iteration.
• Direct experience in energy trading, RTO or ISO markets, and price forecasting.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering teams including a CTO.
• MBA or master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product strategy, roadmap, and success measures for your area.
• Get in front of customers and market experts to validate problems before engineering builds.
• Work with the engineering team on roadmap, resourcing, and tradeoffs.
• Write requirements and success measures; keep the backlog honest.
• Mentor other product managers informally.
