Job summary

Ascend Analytics is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own a portion of our energy analytics platform, including SmartBidder. You will partner with engineering, sales, and customer teams to translate strategy into tangible, measurable outcomes in a fast-growing PE-backed SaaS company.

You will lead discovery, prioritize backlog, and ship features that drive adoption and value for energy traders and market participants in a hybrid or remote setup from Boulder, CO or remote.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B product management experience across strategy, discovery, delivery, measurement, and iteration.
• Direct experience in energy trading, RTO or ISO markets, and price forecasting.
• Ability to mentor junior product managers and partner with senior engineering leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for your area.
• Engage with customers and market experts to validate problems before engineering builds.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and customer teams to ensure alignment and adoption.
• Define requirements and success measures to guide delivery and backlog prioritization.
• Track and report on product performance and impact after launch.
