Job summary

Base is seeking a senior/staff-level frontend engineer to lead the customer experience across web and mobile. You will set architecture, drive frontend direction, and ship high-impact features that translate energy systems into accessible user experiences for millions of households.

You will collaborate with product and design to shape the roadmap, mentor engineers, and own major surfaces end-to-end from concept through production and iteration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years creating production software in product or full-stack roles.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern web frameworks (React/Next.js).
• Strong frontend architecture experience for complex apps.
• Track record owning products or platforms from concept through launch.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend development across Base web and mobile experiences.
• Define and evolve frontend architecture for fast, reliable platforms.
• Own major surfaces-end to-end from concept to production.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on APIs and data models.
• Translate energy systems into intuitive user experiences.
• Mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions across teams.
