Job summary

Clarus is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to drive pet insurance technology from concept to launch, partnering with Engineering, Design, Operations, Marketing, and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful business impact and exceptional user experiences.

The ideal candidate translates complex business challenges into actionable product strategies and builds scalable solutions for veterinary teams, pet parents, and industry partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably within B2B SaaS, insurance technology, fintexch, or related digital platforms.
• Proven experience launching and enhancing commercial products or product features.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within Agile product development environments using tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, Aha!, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making. Technical aptitude and the ability to effectively collaborate with software engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
• Pet health or pet insurance experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product roadmaps for assigned product areas, partnering cross-functionally to deliver features on time.
• Balance business objectives, customer needs, and technical considerations to maximize product value.
• Conduct user research, gather customer feedback, and analyze market trends to inform product decisions.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, making tradeoff decisions based on feedback and priorities.
• Partner with Engineering, UX/UI Design, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure successful product development and launches.
• Support product testing, quality assurance activities, and post-launch analysis to ensure performance targets are met.
• Prepare product documentation, training materials, release communications, and internal enablement resources.
