Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Consumer Payments to own and improve how customers pay, focusing on payment experiences that simplify repayment and improve conversion. You will work across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to drive high-impact bets and a clear roadmap.

You’ll leverage research and experiments to learn where the payment flow breaks and how to fix it, communicating tradeoffs and influencing senior leaders without formal authority.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Strong analytical rigor using data and experiments.
• Curiosity about customers and ability to identify pain points.
• Experience communicating with engineers about system tradeoffs.
• Proven track record from discovery to launch with ambiguous inputs.
• Clear communication and influence across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Improve how customers pay with Affinity’s products from discovery to launch.
• Focus on the customer and uncover where paying breaks down using research and data.
• Create new payment experiences that simplify repayment and improve conversion.
• Design and run experiments to boost payment success and reduce costs.
• Shape payment processing to balance performance, risk, and cost.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to plan and sequence bets.
• Drive a roadmap that delivers customer and business outcomes for senior leaders.
